Mayor: Thank you for your comments
Josh wanted me to pass along that he appreciates your comments about the City’s snow removal efforts. He obviously has not had time to respond to each one, but please know that he and other city officials have read them all. Much of what you’ve written has helped guide our response during this extraordinary period.
Please keep the comments coming. And if you have a chance, check out the Mayor’s Friday video message to get the latest progress report on snow removal. Thank you.
Why is Fairview Avenue, NOT a major thoroughfare completely plowed and dry while Wells Ave between Jefferson and Adams is icy, full of ruts and completely messed up? Ambulances and firetrucks pass through this road everyday and it is still unclear. Please help. I wouldn’t normally complain and our residents have been patient but when we saw how clear Fairview was, it as kind of upsetting! Our street is narrow, we need a small CAT down there not the big kind. Please clear Wells between Jefferson and Adams (Adams is a major mess as well while Boucher is clear).

Thank you for all the updates and the effort to get everything cleaned up. When is the end of Annapolis Street going to be plowed?
Here are some suggestions as you Monday morning quarterback.
Would like to report that my street (Ellington Drive) desperately needs to be plowed, Janwall Street where Tyler Heights Elem School is and also Woods Drive is in horrible condition.
For some reason on Thursday there were SEVERAL trucks working on Summerfield Drive, right next to Woods Drive, but never came to the surrounding streets.
I (with my husband) went to the corner of Ellington & Janwall and shoveled snow to keep from getting stuck because the snow was piled so high. I realize that we are last in line (living on a dead end street) and I feel that we have been very patient.
Thanks much for your help.
